About the Owner
Laura "LJ" was born in Phoenix, Arizona, and raised in a vibrant Mexican household alongside her four brothers and three sisters. One of her most cherished childhood memories is walking home from school to the warm, buttery, sweet, and floral aroma of freshly homemade tortillas. Her mother, often working two jobs to make ends meet, instilled in LJ a deep sense of responsibility from a young age. She quickly learned to care for herself and her younger siblings, and in their household, everyone pitched in. Hard work wasn’t optional, it was a way of life.
LJ went on to graduate from Arizona State University. Shortly after, she welcomed her first daughter, Laila-Soi, and ten years later, her second daughter, Lexi-Jude. She has a passion for travel, cooking, and planning events, things that bring people together and create lasting memories.
Professionally, LJ has spent over twelve years in the dental field. She finds fulfillment in patient care and takes pride in making every visit to the dentist a safe and comfortable experience.
LJ’s love for planning and creativity has always been evident, especially through her work in event planning. One standout example was when she organized a wedding for over 300 guests, managing everything from designing custom signs, floral centerpieces to planning the venue layout and hiring staff. She approached each detail with joy and enthusiasm, embracing a process that many find overwhelming.
Over the years, LJ has dedicated countless hours to helping friends and family plan memorable events, continually refining her skills and exploring new techniques. What began as a hobby gradually evolved into a true passion.
Today, LJ specializes in balloon art and décor. She travels internationally to attend classes, seminars, and conventions staying current with the latest trends and building connections within the industry.
With the unwavering support of her family, LJ took a leap of faith and transformed her passion into a thriving business.
